Country Strong is a frothy soap opera of a tale – complete with the glitz and glamour of the country music stage. Gwyneth Paltrow stars as a superstar artist on the decline, wrestling with her demons in between gigs. Even with a supportive husband (Tim McGraw) and a dedicated songwriter (Garrett Hedlund) nearby, her struggles may be too big to conquer. Not to mention that hot on her heels for the musical throne is younger, spicier version of herself, played by Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester. While critical reviews haven’t been exactly glowing, both leading ladies deserve major kudos for belting out the ballads. This is a film for anyone who loves music-themed dramas set to cowboy boots. This will be a fun addition to country movie night, alongside Urban Cowboy, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Walk the Line and Crazy Heart.

- Chalk
- Black fabric cowboy hat (can be purchased at party store)
- Red ribbon for band of hat
Instructions
- Draw stars all over the hat with chalk.
- With small brush paint in the stars with blue Soft Paint, let dry.
- Paint stars with Glitter Bond and pour glitter, tap away excess.
- Outline the stars with white 3D Paint, let dry.
- Apply crystals to the red band using the heat tool.
- Attach band around hat and use Tacky Glue to seal ends at back of hat.
