Love Affirmation Standing Valentine

 It's never too early to celebrate LOVE for Valentine's Day! And who says Valentine gifts have to involve heart-shaped boxes or paper cards? How about a little dimensional action? This is a cute little affirmation shrine to keep at your desk to remind you of true love and best of all, friendship! You can make a bunch of these to give as red hot gifts or just for your special 'friend'.

 Supplies:
2 pieces of wood. I bought a rectangle and a heart shape at the craft store.
Crafty Chica® Little Chica Paint Packs™
Pencil
Paintbrushes
Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue®
Aleene's® Spray Acrylic Sealer™, glossy

 After painting the pieces, let them dry and glue them together - the rectangle standing upright. Use your pencil to write out the quote. Go over the lines with a liner brush and black paint and then fill in with white. Let it dry and spray with the varnish.

Have fun with the writing, practice on paper first to make sure you get your letting and spacing right. If you don't feel comfortable handwriting the quote, print it on the computer and use Collage Pauge® Instant Decoupage to affix it to the wood. Add glitter if you want!

After it is all painted, add a little wood star or heart on top, just to give it a little Wow!"
